Kelsey grew up loving the mountains and understanding the importance of giving back. In the summers she would come to Randolph, VT to visit her grandparents and fell in love with the Green Mountains. As a teen, she volunteered in an elementary school’s English as a second language program. She attended the Metropolitan State College of Denver and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Kelsey and her husband Jason purchased a home in Wells River in 2010. They have two children who attend Blue Mountain Union School.
Together with her husband, they opened the Wells River Wellness Hall. Both Kelsey and her husband are dedicated and active in their community. Jason is a volunteer in the Wells River Fire department. Kelsey has had the pleasure of serving on the Blue Mountain Union School board since 2016. She serves on several other boards including the 302 Cares substance misuse prevention coalition, Wells River Action Program (WRAP), Little Rivers Health Care board, Whole child Wellness committee at BMU and the new Newbury United board. She believes in individual’s right to personal reproductive autonomy and access. Vermont has welcomed her and she hopes to be able to serve the community more.
